“It is recommended that you have an eye test at least every two years and more frequently if you are in a higher risk group, your optometrist or doctor will tell you if this is the case.”

RNIB offers a range of help online and through its Helpline and hospital eye clinics, including:
▪ Eye Care Liaison Officers (ECLOs):these are eye care professionals and are based in most hospital eye clinics. They can help you with any questions or worries around your eye treatment.
▪ A UK-wide helpline (0303 123 9999) gives access to RNIB’s eye care advice service.
▪ A large selection of eye condition information booklets are available which feature information on an A-Z of eye conditions to order or download. If your eye condition is not listed then call our Helpline and our eye health team can give you reliable and trustworthy information.
▪ The RNIB online shop shop.rnib.org.uk stocks some drops dispensers that can be helpful.
